As many of you are probably aware, when certain projectiles are perfect shielded they bounce off at what appears to be a random trajectory. Some examples include Pit's arrows and Lucario's Aurosphere. I don't really know much about this and was wondering if anyone could educated me, and hopefully others, on the following:
A. Do perfect shielded projectiles (that bounce off shields) still have an active hitbox?
B. Is there any equation behind their trajectory or is it simply random?
C. Is it only energy based projectiles that can bounce off?

Thanks to anyone who can help : )

A: I don't know if the hitbox is still active, but if it is then it still belongs to the one who fired it and not the defender.
B: I don't think I've ever seen a projectile bounce off at truly "random" angle. I suspect it's based on the angle of reflection with the surface of the shield bubble (or at least supposed to approximate such), plus or minus a little bit? No idea.
C: No idea.
