About Link's Down A Spike

WHY DO U WANT 2 KNOW?
We all know that Link's down A can spike. But is it that useful. I've only spiked somone 4 times with the down A. It's hard enough to keep your enemy on the ledge long enough for the invincibility frames to wear off but you have to place yourself on the right position to spike. And the 4 ppl who I spiked were edge hogging. Any tips on how to spike with it better?

We're actually still in the process of finding everything out about links down a. There are a lot of weird hitboxes and other factors that go into whether it spikes or not, and we're still not sure.

By the way, there is already a thread a little ways down on the page that is purely for the discussion of the down a spike, and we also have a Q&A thread at the top, so post topics like this in one of those places from now on. :)
