About 3rd party controllers

I have been searching the internet for a back-up controller in case my own would break but most of the ones I found are 3rd party controllers without the nintendo logo over the start button.

I once had a wireless controller that wasn't a wave-bird. I stopped working in a month.

Never buy anything without the nintendo seal on it. The controllers are not worth it.

I was just thinking because they're way easier to find and 3x cheaper. But maybe there's a reason for that other than the fact that Nintendo no longer makes GC controllers.
