Smash Cadet
Greetings! As my name states, I am a Canadian. Figured I should finally make an account here since I've been wanting more of a challenge on Smash 3DS. For Glory doesn't cut it for me half of the time.
Anyway, a bit of Smash History from me. My first Smash Bros. Game was Brawl (sadly). I've been wanting to own a Smash Bros. game since I played it at a friends house. Eventually got it, and played with it casually to my hearts content. Of course, other influences led me to make myself a more better player, and I started to play with no items. A few years later, and a friend led me to the Brawl Hacking Community where people mod Brawl for fun. I did this as a hobby during my time in High School. I first did texture hacks, but gradually transitioned to moveset hacks, where I specialized in custom attacks and animations. To this day, I'm still an active member of the KC-MM Forums. I'm actually a Brawl Vault Staff member there.
When Sm4sh was Officially announced, I was excited since that was part of my 3DS Wishlist (The others being Kingdom Hearts 3D and Virtue's Last Reward), and it was the time between the announcement and the release that I felt more appreciation to the Smash Bros. Community in general. And when I finally got my hands on the 3DS Demo, I started to truly appreciate and understand the mechanics of the game, and preferred that over Brawl (didn't help that I used a Wiimote back then... lol...). Got the full 3DS Game on launch day, and enjoyed sessions on For Glory since then. So here I am, seeking a challenge.
As far as other interests go, anime is one of them, and I also draw things. My art history is another set of paragraphs altogether, but the shortened version of it is that I was influenced by others to draw, and about a year later, my drive to get better kicked in. That was roughly 6 years ago. If you wanna check out my stuff, here's my dA Account. There's pro'lly not much worth looking at, but feel free to pay a visit.
I'll end off this post by saying that I am a student studying in the field of animation. I used to study Graphic Design, but my indecision of what to do in life made me ditch that in favor of animation. The fact that I draw animu styled waifu characters, and the fact that I specialized in moveset hacks over at KC-MM pro'lly influenced this choice.
That ends my greeting post. Hope to face off with some of you guys! Though, do note that my WiFi is better at certain times of the day.
I apologize for wasting your time with this lengthy greeting... lol...
