Hello, hello! Thank you for taking the time to read this thread, it means quite a lot to me.
I am Ryan, otherwise known as Geek, and I've been on the internet for quite some time, as well as made a bunch of friends on the way. I originated here in August of 2009 in the Mario Kart Wii community, where I was full of joy and happiness since it was practically the first time I talked to people online. Based on this, I'm not at all new to this "internet thing"...but I'm new here! However, the MKW community has become corrupt in that these people are quite hypocritical when you talk to them, and they have caused a friend of mine to quit after being in the community ever since the game came out (you know who you are!). On the contrary, I've heard a lot of good things about this community, being much more tame than the aforementioned.
I actually love to play Super Smash Bros., and I've played since Melee (yes, I'm not as hardcore of fans as some of you claim to be). The characters I play are rather what those "stereotypical gays" might play; that's right, I love to play Peach or any of the female characters. When the fourth installment of the franchise comes out, I plan on maining Wii Fit Trainer - just because it's joke to add her in, and it kind of describes my personality, if you will.
Nevertheless, I'm more of a casual and general guy here - I am a chatterbox and I am here to make new friends and acquaintances hopefully on the way. I especially love to talk about music, as it is my passion and hobby of mine (no, I don't actually play music!). I may regularly post in the "what are you currently listening to?" thread to share my music taste, which I love to bring to people since my taste is quite obscure.
I actually kind of wonder how I was the first person to bring up the username "Geek," after knowing the fact that this forum has been around for over 13 years! I guess I should consider myself lucky for being able to get the name!
