my team is greater for the sole fact i have 2 UU pokes on it

it's a decent team, electivire will have a lot of fun with this team, as will gyarados

starmie does not need recover, give it ice beam over recover, tbolt and surf are both resisted by grass types not combined with rock, flying, ground, or water

tbolt, ice beam, and surf hit so many things for SE it's not even funny, which makes expert belt an amazing choice as an item

Ability: Blaze
EVs: 224 Atk/208 Spd/78 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Fire Blast<Overheat
- Grass Knot
- U-turn
Infernape's defenses are already bad, why make it worse w/Naive? Lower something like Sp Atk since your EV spread tells me it's more of a physical sweeper.
---
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/96 Def/36 Spd/16 SAtk/110 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
- Reflect
- Wish
Good.
---
Salamence (♂) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 148 HP/226 Atk/136 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance

Good.
---
Weavile (♂) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash
- Pursuit
Ice Punch if you already have Pursuit IMO.
---
Garchomp (♂) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 108 HP/216 Spd/186 SAtk

ok. this team has been tested and most of your suggestions arent anywhere close the the mark. im part of the Team Oblivion clan on netbattle and that is the best clan on there for those of you who dont no.

1st. infernape is hit and run and is a mixed sweeper not a physical one. it is not meant to take any kind of hits so defenses are not needed and overheat is bad imo. if i use it and then say a water comes in i cant ohko it with grass knot. and its only 20 more base power...

2nd i have ice shard on vile for a good reason. it kills dded mences or scarf chomp that would normally hurt my team. and with band it still dents well

3rd you see scarf chomp because it kicks a*s

4th i sometimes run ice beam over surf and recover is needed.

5th ok who in the world uses weezing and how can it wall jirachi or starmie or infernape?

6th starmie=best gyra counter in the game. comes in ohkos with t-bolt. recovers off damage. siimple. also jirachi with charge beam kills.

starmie=best gyra counter in the game.
I think Porygon2 is a better counter. A Bold defensively EVed Porygon2 can switch in and Intimidate Gyarados back with Trace while easily 2HKOing Gyarados with Thunderbolt. (It figures that Bold Porygon2 with 252 SpAtk EVs does 94.27% at the least using Thunderbolt on Gyarados...)

how about getting rid of jirachi? having a legenday doesn't make it fair you know. try another pokemon that isn't legenday. other than that, it a good team.

Best gyara counter is weezing. Not even a contest. The only real issue I see with this team is that you don't have anything that can take physical hits too well.

Welcome to the Poke center, will you take that crap into the next room, please?
heres a real team
-.-'

Infernape (♂) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 224 Atk/208 Spd/78 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- U-turn
Fine: the EVs are a little slow, it's not fun when Misamigus outspeeds you.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/96 Def/36 Spd/16 SAtk/110 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
- Reflect
- Wish
Why not use calm Mind and reflect together to cover your weaknesses: or you could use Cosmic power over Reflect. Doom Desire is a fun move that hits through everything: consider that.
Salamence (♂) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 148 HP/226 Atk/136 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Roost
Its OK, but Skarmory lols at you with free spikes set up and a whirlwind.
Weavile (♂) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash
- Pursuit
Fine
Garchomp (♂) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage
Do you need that much speed? You can peel a couple away for some HP or special defense.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 108 HP/216 Spd/186 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
Fine.

ok?
I would have seen Choice banded Garchomp ripping apart this team if it wasn't for yours being Choice scarfed. But lose that and your Weavile, and your team will eventually crumble beneath it. Jirachi, your only Dragon resist, goes down with Earthquake, and doesn't like CB 90 power hits coming from 130 base attack.
An Azumarill(shut up W4M) with Ice Punch can also be potentailly devestating: however, if it has Ice Punch, it lacks Aqua Jet, which is the main thing it has going for it. Nonetheless, double-Edge can still take care of Salamence. Jumpluff with Stun Spore also poses a huge threat to your team: if it gets a Sub up, something of yours is down. Overall, your team can't take regular spikes very well and will be quite easy to wear down by any stall team: Starmie is the most overused Spinner, and as such many people will prepare a ghost for her to take the rapid spin.

Well aren't you arrogant.

Infernape (♂) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 224 Atk/208 Spd/78 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- U-turn

Fine. I'd use Overheat over Fire Blast; it has more power, better accuracy, and makes the hit-and-run with U-Turn all that more fun. Needs more Speed.
---
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/96 Def/36 Spd/16 SAtk/110 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
- Reflect
- Wish

Cosmic Power and Rest are amazing together; perfect for stalling. Don't get walled (or Roared) by Steelix! :D
---
Salamence (♂) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 148 HP/226 Atk/136 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Roost

Skarmory and Steel Magnet-Risers > This Salamence. Drop Roost for Fire Fang/Blast.
---
Weavile (♂) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash
- Pursuit

You don't need both Pursuit and Ice Shard; drop one for Ice Punch. I honestly like Ice Shard more...
---
Garchomp (♂) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage

Fine.
---
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 108 HP/216 Spd/186 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

Fine. Owned by Grass.
---

ok?
Lanturn loves your team except for BandVile not using Ice Shard at the moment and ScarfChump when it's using...whatever (minus Fire Blast). Lanturn rapage ftw...Another Starmie also lols at your team...

Anyway, I give the team:

An 8.9/10.

-IC3R, out...

Irela... Like I'm telling you!
So of course, bragging about being the best despite having 0 walls and 1 tank is really going to get you places.

Every single Special sweeper that comes to mind shreds this.
As do most Physical sweepers.

Bye

he has a point, skarmbliss owns your life right now

also, starmie doesn't need recover, just give it ice beam and it hits every type for at least neutral (most for SE), and give nape more speed

but you def need tanks, bronzong and cressy would really compliment this team

i'd take out nape and mence for those 2, and make weavile your lead

Infernape's Fire Blast and Close Combat pwn Skarmory and Blissey.

mood4food77 said:

Lanturn is immune to Thunderbolt and resistant to Surf and Ice Beam. Well... Sure, Rapid Spin hits it for neutral, but Rapid Spin will do an embarrasingly "phailed" amount of damage.

and with skarmbliss, nape isn't hard to take down anyways, so once that's gone..skarmbliss will own his life

None of you are facing the point that as soon as a sweeper gets in and even one set up move (Some won't even need that) this team will go down in flames.

Recommending to drop Recover just makes this team even less defensive

I didn't know people still made teams that get torn apart by ice/thunder punching Metagrosses but I guess they do. And leftovers three times? Item clause is so standard that even Nintendo have it as default.

I'd hate this teama lot less if it had something even slightly cool or obtuse in it.

LOLOLOLOL

STILL LAUGHING

Item Clause is not standard by any player with a shred of sense.
Nintendo have it standard, so are you telling me Wob and the Lati twins are fine, but Celebi, Shaymin and Jirachi are Uber, like Nintendo have?

Go learn stuff please

Why did you post a consecutive use of Life Orb's abbreviation?

You said, "Life Orb Life Orb Life Orb Life Orb Life".

Charizard @ Salac Berry
Blaze
Adamant
252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spd
- Substitute
- Belly Drum
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake

If this BellyZard is behind a Sub, then you're dead.

ILoveCelebi's Choice Scarf Azelf can also do a number to those three Pokemon.

ok since all the teams ive seen look well... bad.

heres a real team

Infernape (♂) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 224 Atk/208 Spd/78 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Heat Wave
- Grass Knot
- U-turn

I wouldn't risk Infernape like that, nah, either give it a Sash and a Stat-Upping move, or, give it a Chioice Scarf, once your opponent sees Ape losing some HP, they'll take advantage of that and switch on precicted moves
---
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/96 Def/36 Spd/16 SAtk/110 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Charge Beam
- Psychic
- Reflect
- Wish

Give it a Shuca Berry, I've killed countless Jirachis with my Probopass and Metagross, so, Shuca Berry can help it.
--
Salamence (♂) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 148 HP/226 Atk/136 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Roost

Can it really take an Ice Beam and live? After a DD, Mence still won't OHKO much with that set... no, give it Fire Blast over Roost for Skarmory, Mence won't much time to recover...
---
Weavile (♂) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Shard
- Night Slash
- Pursuit

<.< The STANDARD Weavile set... use Fake Out over Night Slash or Pursuit.
---
Garchomp (♂) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage

Naughty Nature will a bit better for it when it has Fire Blast...
---
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 108 HP/216 Spd/186 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Grass Rope
- Rapid Spin

OMG.... Swampert can kill this thing SOOOO easily, give it Grass Know since with a Timid Nature, Starmie can't survive a friggen thing.
---

ok?
Overall... 78/100...

I helped you now help me...

ILoveCelebi's Choice Scarf Azelf can also do a number to those three Pokemon.
Yay... I'm finally mentioned...

and how are they meant to switch into these threats?

Let's take DDTar.

DDTar comes in on something unlikely to hurt it, DDs on your switch to these "counters", then proceeds to kill them and the rest of your team, 6 DDs isnt necessary when 1 is all that's needed to kill you

i repeat does anyone want to battle this team? i will silence all of these this kills your team or that kills your team. how does swampert kill starmie being slower, no good moves to KO it, and no recovery move. explain. plus how can a choice item holder kill three of my pokes with 3 different moves? name one reason to use fake out on a choice weavile. after it uses it once it has to switch out. plus weavile is a revenge killer and pursuit is why it lives. infernape is a suicide artist that kills what it can then goes down. and if you are a noob then you cant predict their swithes to use a good move. jirachi is a staller and my wall so i need lefties and shucka is a one time thing and im not staying in on a meta and probapass is so uu. plz someone battle this team and you will see my points.

Hey, Friday I'll battle you and show you how much this team fails with a capital "PH". Just set it up on the DS we'll see who's right...

It's a fun process called, Switching (OMFG!!)
Um... duh, Weavile can hit sashers, leave and come back.

Swampert has EQ and Mirror Coat.

ANYTHING with EQ is the reason of a Shuca Berry, plus, you can heal with Wish.

Umm... wow, OMG, if you don't know your opponent's team, how can you predict it O_o?

Okay, why have both Pursuit and Night Slash? UNLESS you want Hera or a Sasher to kill you, use Fake Out, then, switch.
