Alright so with character and stage DLC, being accessible in Super Smash Bros, this movement isn't necessarily unrealistic. Secondly I have seen 'movements' who take the same approach, have some level of success (an example being a Windows Phone game, I have forgotten which one). Thirdly using Twitter as our means of contacting Sakurai, allows for the receiver to actually check that someone has been making multiple accounts. This topic could of gone in the stage section, however I was unsure, as it is more about a 'movement' rather than DLC ideas
Okay with all that said, what is the cause for this 'movement'? The main purpose of this movement is to influence Sakurai to add a Pushmo/Pullblox stage (you can see it as a suggestion, request or even a demand. But that is up to you).
Why add a Pushmo Stage?
- Firstly the stage can easily reference the original gameplay from Pushmo. Basically Malo (the protagonist), moves blocks around whilst the players fight.
- It gives more e-Shop love. Whilst it is great to see Dillon, the e-Shop's IPs have barely any representation in Super Smash Bros. Yet it's prevalence is increasing year-by-year.
- When it comes to the e-Shop (this is based on my perception), Pushmo (along with Dillon) are the most relevant/well-known characters on the e-Shop. Basically Pushmo isn't a random addition, from a game with few fans.
So how do I get involved?
Fairly simple, post a tweet (you can link it to Nintendo or Sakurai, that isn't necessary though). Within the tweet add #PushmoStageForSmash . Add a comment if you want. I will start, under my barely used twitter account Down Urchin.
