Very cool list and very nicely put together. Although, I don't like how Black Knight was not included over K. Rool... but that's just me. And Olimar's moveset could be better, seems kind of bad to use. Vali made a really good one over in the Olimar thread.

This is incredible - so many original ideas! TP Postman for AT? GENIUS, ABSOLUTE GENIUS - this needs to be seen by ALL!

Keep in mind Tingle has his own starring game now.

There's 2 things that really bug me, Little Mac as AT which is major flamebait, & Mii as an enemy. Little Mac, being a fighter by profession, was a top choise from older Nintendo fans as a retro represenative. Having him as anything but playable is almost worse than not having him in the game at all. Besides, King Hippo would be great as a boss.

Miis on the other hand, would likely be the citizens of the worlds the heroes are trying to protect. Afterall, what's the point of saving an empty world? I still hope for playable Mii personally, but I gotta admit NPCs in cutscenes is the most probable use of them.

I'm here to whine about Falco not being on there, as always.

Without her staff, Krystal is basically the most similar to Fox of anyone, except female, and maybe a little faster and more flexible. Falco isn't that similar to him.

If anyone listens to me, please tell me. Thank you.

SPOILERS FOR KIRBY ON THE NES

In the original story, Darkmatter had possessed King Dedede.
Thought it was a cool idea.

Dedede isn't always possessed by Dark Matter...If they make him possessed by Dark Matter...Just call it Dark Matter...

NO ONE wants Possessed Dedede as a character

Zeldas moves are called Naryu's Love (not Narro'sLove), Farore's Wind (Not Teleport) and Din's Fire (Not Blast) and the things that Sheik throws are needles not knives. aside from that I liked it so much, nice job.

This is one of the very few lists I don't have a problem with. The only pick I would gripe about is Falco exclusion. Falco has a lot of supporters, if you want him out you might as well cut Marth as well. Personally I don't feel that Zelda needs more representatives.

I would swap Marth, Staffy and Midna for Falco, an Animal Crossing rep (since I do agree that there will be one) and a female rep (preferably one without a sword) from Fire Emblem.

Then I would throw a curve ball and have a villain from Golden Sun represent the series instead of Isaac reducing the "men with swords" archetype.

Anyway thats just my take, overall good list.

I plan on updating the list from 42 characters to 45, and add in an AC rep.
Popular opinion says KK SLider, but I am not sure. he does show up in a stage.
(that or I try to remove some one from my list, but it is very difficult.)

you noticed. good eye there. Had alot of trouble finding a good 3D image of megaman in a normal form. I am not a big fan of his chibi form, so I try to avoif it.

as far as falco goes, I never could imagine a different moveset for him. everything always seemed to similar to fox. also wanted to have a female rep show up.

thanks for the link. it is an interesting moveset.

also, most votes here are on AC main character. thought I saw him in the background of smash ville also. Could have been some one else.

Well,

I think the three new characters I add will be
Micaiah -> Serra (fire Emblem Rekka no Ken, november 2003)
Ac main character
...
maybe Rundas from MP3? still need to think of a third.

and she's the ruler of an entire race of shadow people...

Tingle's a pedophile who thinks he's a fairy...

Also, Midna actually has REAL attacks, tingle would be like... fairy dust! Pyewpyew!

Great Char list besides Vaati, Lucario, and K.Rool. You also left out Falco, disappointing.

I also like all your alternate costume ideas. Very impressive.

One gripe though. The weapons Megaman uses have names, ya know.

B is the Mega Buster
B^ is the Tornado Hold
B> is the Rolling Cutter
Bv is the Flame Blast

Excellent list, I'd love this to be the final roster.
