Thanks to the gimped Basic Brawl, you can't communicate, add the person to your Friends list, or even know whether they are actually human or not (may have dropped in the beginning and turned into CPU). Essentially I doubt I will ever play this mode now. The Friend code list holds up to 64 people and I would like to fill that list completely with other people so that there will likely often be someone I can play with 1 vs. 1, with special rules, or just the way we want to play, such as using STOCK!
So we should have a thread where we can post that we're browsing the forums and feel like playing some Smash. Then someone could reply if they are on, we could exchange codes and go play. I think this would be really useful. We could also have a list of people that will play online all the time so we could preregister a large list of people. All I know is that I will stick to looking for friend 99.9% of the time. I want to be playing a guaranteed human, not a CPU...
