This is going out to the people at the PMBR. I love Project M, but I have a few things to get off my brain.
First off, try thinking about the non-competitive side of people who like Project M. For example, I noticed that the game was more designed for the GameCube controller. Now, let's say a kid finds out about Project M, without knowing it is a competitive mod. He gets it on an SD card, and puts it in. Now, he's played Brawl before, and usually plays with a Wiimote, and doesn't own a GameCube controller. Now, in Brawl, when you hold left or right once, you walk. Tapping it twice makes you dash. However, in Project M, since it was designed for the GameCube controller, when the kid tries moving, he can't walk! He can only dash, which makes it really hard to pick up items, since he's running right past them! Also, he also can't wavedash, or even play as Giga Bowser on the start screen! It really puts players who don't own GameCube controllers at a huge disadvantage.
Also on the topic of Giga Bowser, can you please possibly add a feature where you can choose to be Wario-Man, just like Giga Bowser, by holding the shield button at the selection screen?
I would maybe also like a feature to where, instead of removing the fun or originality of most stages, have an option to choose between a stage's original version, or the PM version? (i.e. For Warioware, you can choose to have microgames on or off.)
That way, it can be a fun game for everyone, not just the "No items, Fox Only, Final Destination" types of people. Just a suggestion.
