Smash 3DS A question to the Japanese players

Hey everyone,

So, I've been wondering about something about the release build after trying the demo, and was hoping people here knew the answers:

Is there a way to customize controls, like you could in Brawl?
I would like to try movement with the d-pad, since the analog feels a little unaccurate to me, or rather use it as a psuedo c-stick, since I'm not going to get the new 3DS that has one.
Also, I'm so used to shielding with L from the previous games, and now that there's no Z button and its' functionality had been transferred to L with only R being a shield, that really throws me off my game.

I was really hoping there would be a way to re-map the controls in the ways I mentioned, and just wanted to get confirmation on these things from someone who knows.

So thanks alot for any answers =)

From what I've seen from Smash 3DS streams and videos, you can indeed remap your Shield and Grab buttons, however, you cannot change the movement option as the D-Pad is specifically the Taunt, and sorry to say, no C-Sticking until New 3DS.

Yea, I figured I'd be out of luck on the movement thing, Brawl didn't allow remapping of it either =P
Still, that is great news, as movement is still something you can get used to fairly quickly, but the grab/shield swap is a pain.
Thanks~

Just noticed as I was posting this, thanks alot Kaze, that's exactly what I was looking for =)

Yes, you can adjust the controls like Brawl.
Ah, I won't use the D pad as a smash if I were you...

yes you can change controls, the default controls actually suck imo swapping l and r at the very least.

tap-smashing or whatever its called its pretty responsive, I will miss shake-smashes in brawl though.
