A Question About VGBootCamp And Their Tournaments

I just have a quick question. I love watching tournaments of Smash Ultimate, I think they are so much fun to participate in, and I want to make one myself. But whenever I watch one, I almost always see that VGBootCamp posted it. On VGBootCamp's Youtube channel, they post full tournaments with many different names and many different locations. Does VGBootCamp create all of these separate tournaments themselves, or do they simply upload different ones to their channel with the actual organizer's permission?

This depends a lot, VGBootcamp is an organization that both organizes tournaments and broadcasts them. Any tournament they organize, they also broadcast so that they gain revenue from the live broadcast and VODs on YouTube. In addition, they also broadcast several tournaments that they do not organize themselves. They do not simply upload tournament footage of events they neither organized nor broadcast.

Kind of. Broadcasting live events requires being on-site with equipment and running the broadcast all day, so it's much more involved than simply airing something another company produced.
