A Question About Recording on..

CRTs.

So a while back, I bought an El Gato and it's awesome. But, if I wanna record on CRTs, I would need some extra stuff. I've looked around the net and I see different options and what not, but I don't know what option(s) to go with. Can anyone help me out here ?

Besides the device itself, I believe you need a component/composite splitter and a double ended RCA A/V cable. I ordered that last item yesterday so I'm about to find out of I have everything done right.

Are you gonna start streaming? I'd like to figure what everyone else is using and all that. Because, I need to start looking for a mic and camera. I heard the snowball is good, and I don't know about cameras.

My laptop has a built-in camera, but I have no idea how well that's going to work in practice as far as sound goes.

You might be alright, I've tried using a 720p webcam before and it doesn't look that clear so I'm woundering what would be good.
