Smash 3DS A Question About Names

Sorry if this doesn't warrant a thread, but I had a question about how names worked in the 3DS version of the game. Do you get to input your name, or does it always show up as P1? Also, can you have multiples "names" or "profiles" on the 3DS? I want my siblings to play, but I'm a stickler for stats and I'd hate to see them mess them up.

I haven't seen the stats but the name appears where the character art is rather then where player 1 was in brawl.

Smash 3ds only has one file. Oh, and your name goes off of the main mii for your system so you can edit it that way.
edit: in game, as in on the top screen you are labeled as P1 or P2 or whatever but on the bottom screen your name appears.

They got rid of names, but the touch screen uses the name of the Mii set to be you.
