A psychedelic trip on the way

Psilocybin mushrooms, often called 'magic mushrooms' or 'liberty caps', is something I will consume in the next few weeks. After gathering some friends and doing researches on the matter, we decided it would be a thrilling experience and a mind opening activity for all of us.

In this thread, I would like to hear any story related to the use of common psychoactive drugs and how you guys have experienced it. I do not post this in purpose of breaking any of the forum rules nor will I enjoy seeing people show up and rant against this. Like the smoking thread Forward posted few weeks ago, try to stay on topic or I will ask any moderator to close this.

The only advice I can think of at the moment is, when you take it, don't be afraid of anything. Remove all angst and fear-driven worries from your mind or else you'll have a bad trip. If you're completely happy at ingestion, the closed eye visuals and general thought processes you go through will blow your mind.

I haven't had magic mushrooms, no. All this is from my experiences with green. However, I am also planning on going on a trip (DMT) after year 12 has finished and have done some research which included asking some veteran psychedelic users I know about the subject. They told me the same thing I'm telling you.

I'm not an advocate of drugs, however, I do know a number of weed smokers. Dave Chappelle did a gig where he described how his trip on mushrooms was way different than his trips on weed. There's no doubt that there was some exaggerations, but the gist of what he was saying was that the shrooms were a different level of high; higher than that of weed, and it made him freak out a little bit.

Seeing as how you wanted our experiences, and knowledge first, I can see that you are a moderately smart drug user. You would know that higher doses of the 'shrooms would cause a more dramatic effect, and more dramatic aftereffects.

What I'm saying is...just watch yourself.

I would imagine you will either have the time of your life, or end up VERY regretful. No middle-grounds here.

I say take forblazes advice to heart.

If it were paranoid, angry, grudge-holding, and easily-frightened me- I'm sure I would have a VERY BAD trip. I would imagine it would almost be like having a night-terror (anyone else have those as a kid?).

Anyways, so long as your an optimistic, fun-loving, open-minded person with some curiosity, I'm sure you'll have a blast. Be sure to tell us how it goes!

Porn is in the rules. Warez, emulators, and roms are banned from discussion because we do not support nor endorse it. This is mainly for our own protection.
