Here is a Post I made about Peach winning a major tournament to those that just through in the towel with her or just countrpick more than main here, etc.
"I'm gonna say this one thing then pack it up for the nite. living on your own is stressful as hell and I'm freaking tired. And I am speaking in general
I'm one of the many few who think she can take one big tourny. And here is what usually runs through ones mind for not thinking so. But I think I am about the only one who thinks it can be done without counterpicking characters.
- "M2K or DSF, omg just drop the controller"
- Characters match up ratio
- people being bias about high tier/high tier users
- " It's Peach, she can't kill and can die quickly, we got this one, not much or a thread"
- people would counterpick with her in match ups they fear
- Playing a pro and sayin you can't win it.
- Scared to face a pro
- Scared to face a character
- typical/agressive peach game that is just getting old. it even bores me now, really thesae dair hacking ones. All I have to do is uptilt them or Up-B. Also wanna be in the air so much thier ground game is not so good. So if I take that away in Peach dittos imagine high tiers or pros in general
- Have no clue how to play defensive or are not really good at it, always on the attack. Always wanna swing and think that is the answer to everything.
- Let pros and how they are with thier character ruin thier judgement or mindset of even winning.
- Lose 4-5 times and say it can't be done to get a win. try 100+ before you seriously say there is no way in hell it can happen.
- people just don't wanna work so hard to win when they can just counterpick or play gay to get the job done.
I'm sorry but after 2 something tries or around those lines. I can't sit here and just quit. Say Peach can't end high tiers. I refuse to. No one will ever learn if they just back out. And too many are now doing that. or just counterpick out of fear (I went trhough this already so moving on.)
But what the hell you gonna get by just sitting here saying she can't do it huh? The hell is the point of learning how to deal with match ups then? To beat up people you are better then but against a pro, use someone else? While some do that and its fine, something I just can't go along with. another reason I refuse to counterpick. But this falls in terms of people who only care about money, So what the hell this really means to them. why would they care. as long as they get money, they don't care about anything else. Just that green.
people won't really learn much. I been getting camped by snakes back then so much. Then in January. I learned through all those times being camped, that Peach can out camp Snake. And if he camps you, he is actually helping you beat him. I already explained this already. But look at that. Most characters have a hard time with a camping snake or can't really shut it down well. Peach does though, and before people were going on about how a camping snake is a problem. Me busting my azz against snake and losing, one day it hit me when I fought this one campy snake and 2-0 him for it.
Mike G, the creator of peach in melee, you know how long it took him to do all that and be (IMO) best melee Peach to ever touch a cube controller? Not even less than half a year. Same with Wife. So I find it so funny how people wanna throw in the towel in terms of Peach not able to win. its so ********. After a year of going emo,getting my azz kicked, going through so much BS in tournaments when I could have won or just simply choked, I'm still here. I still refuse to counterpick after so many people tell me I should. Still save peach can hack these tiers. i even came to a point where playing Peach was annoying the hell out of me and pissing me off.
Yet if me, Dark.Pch is still here after all of this fighting, I can't see why in the world others would just hand in the towel and say she can't do it. Well I say this, go ahead and do it then. But I am not just gonna sit here and not do anything about it. Not get my answers. know for sure. To a point I say peach and snake is even. But of course people don't buy that, so I'll just prove it the best way I can. MM these top snakes when ready. People just don't wanna work that hard or just simply can't thus comes these logics that Peach can't get a big win. And a good example of this is howpeople when on about falco when I gavethe details on the match up 100 times and the real reason people can't handle falco. And I am being honest too, not gonna BS anyone with my character. laying nice and all won't get you anywhere but low ranks. I wake up every tournament day with a mission. and will keep at that mission till its done. and I already explained what it was with Peach and this game. And yes I have mutiple missions.
Thats about it for this nite on this matter. People do what they way. All I can say is less competition on this character for me to worry about and more work for me to do, which I have no problem with it.
** Also, Don't let melee be an excuse or w/e to beasting with Peach. I love melee more than brawl. But I am actually better with Brawl peach than melee. People said my melee Peach was good and close to Pro-am or getting there around the time or pound 3. I say it was not but w/e. Melee is not an excuse for quitting or lack or skills in this. I can play melee for 20 mins, to get the grove back (Just need to remember my match ups again) And can go back to brawl just fine. And ten bucks says Nothing won't really change. This is how I see it. You somehow can't handle both games, its you're fault, not the game. So you quitting in terms of melee is YOU'RE fault. nothing to do with the game itself."

Think this is a good read and something that should be thought about. And this does not apply for Peach. can apply for others 2. Think this can also be suited Best For Zelda. Thats just me though. only you can make it happen. Want something done, do it yourself. pros won't be there for you and guiding you, really when you will mostly be fighting them.
