A new twist on the Waluigi for Brawl idea...

Character Idea: Waluigi
Game(s): Mario Sports games, Mario Party series, Mario Kart series, DDR Mario Mix
Platform(s): DS, GameCube, Wii, GBA

I get where people are coming from.

We already have too many characters from the Mario series, and he cant be from the Wario series because he is never in the games.

Ok, ok, I get that. But how about this?

Waluigi in as a rep from the Mario Spin Off games?

Think about it. Some of Nintendo's most successful franchises are Mario Party, Mario Kart, and the Mario Sports games. Waluigi appears in all of these games, not to mention DDR Mario Mix.

Under this theory, Waluigi would get his own icon, not the Mushroom or W icon. I'm not sure exactly what it would be, but maybe one of the items or pieces in a Mario Party game? Idk.

This would also make the Mario Kart stage the stage rep for this new icon/series.

His moveset would be based on all of those games, incorporating maybe an item in Mario kart. His final smash could be based on his Super Strike in Mario Strikers charged.


ALSO: I know there is a Waluigi thread, in fact several of them. I chose to put this in a new one because it is based on a completley different version/style of Waluigi.

And we still don't need him, even taking the huge spin-off representation he has.
Also, he IS part of Mario's series, because they are all MARIO spin offs.

Correct, it doesnt make sense because Waluigi appears in nothing more than...Mario Games. He never had his own series like Wario. Peach, Bowser, Luigi,Yoshi, and so on all appeared in Mario sports games, Mario Party, Mario Kart, and what have you. Under your theory, Peach, Bowser and Yoshi would all have their own icons and be part of a new series (Yoshi has his own gaming series anyway). So the only rep. for plain "Mario Brothers" would be...Mario.

Yeah I get what you mean, I agree. A representative for all the spin off series Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Mario Party, Mario Soccer

Edit: yeah I would choose Geno over Waluigi, Bowser Jr. is more likely also.

I couldn't disagree more. Walugi is the worst character in nintendo history. I would rather see Tingle or Captain N than Waluigi. Hell, give me a goomba as a playable over him.

Anyway, Bowser Jr and Geno will likely be the only newcomers, [although Fawful would be awesome.] if Waluigi were to make it in the game, he would be in the Wario Franchise, AT, or settle for the fourth, if there ever is one.
