A new melee player here

Even though I play smash 4 a little, I wanna try playing melee. Are there any new players out there that I can play against and learn melee with? Or any pros who wanna smack me down while teaching me something about melee?

I almost exclusively play netplay, as I currently don't have a way attending locals. So if anyone wants to do something, it would have to be over netplay.
