Smash Cadet
Hi, there! My name is Ian. You can call me by my name or Jisatsu or Starstone- I answer to all. I'm new to these parts, but I've been aware of Smashboards since '07. With how much easier it is to take on fellow smashers around the world these days, it's about time I put my name (and skill) out there! Like many of you, I've been smashing since N64. I went to my first local tournament for Melee when I was in middle school (about '02?). I was a newcomer to the people who attended, but walked away with 5th place and a new fire in my heart for the series. I haven't attended many tourneys overall since then, but I play every day if I can. I'm really feeling Sm4sh, and that's what brings me here to you- I seek friends who I can kick back with and have some fun on a (hopefully) daily basis! I'm all about the portability of the 3DS, so that's the version of Smash you will find me. My main is Rosalina for 3DS, but I'm pretty decent with about 1/3rd of the roster- don't expect me to play the same character over and over again...that's rather boring, in my opinion

As far as other hobbies and interests of mine are concerned, I'm into the following:
-Gaming (Steam/PC mostly)
-Biology (Entomology and breeding exotic mantis species are my favorite activities in this regard)
-Music production (specifically Electronica genres are my go-to)
-Anything related to space and the great big universe we live in
-Billiards (and other fun bar games)
-Geology
-Visual arts
-Mixology (I DO work as a bartender and bar back after all....)
-Cooking
-Travel
.....I've dabbled and have had my hands in a lot of different things! Whatever I set my mind to, I tend to do very well. I believe one shouldn't limit themselves to a couple things, but instead experience many things throughout their lives. Life is short, don't miss the opportunity to explore and broaden your horizons! My introduction is coming to a close, so if you are interested in making friends with an open-minded, well-rounded guy with a hunger for smash 24/7- look no further!
