BEASTMASTERTOAD
Smash Cadet
Hello! I've been lurking this forum for a long time and just decided to finally make an account. I'm eager to talk Smash Bros with people who are passionate about the series.
Here's a quick rundown of my experience with the series:
-Started with Smash 64 when it first released. I first played it at a friend's house and fell in love with it.
-Graduated to Melee when the Gamecube released. I played the heck out of it. It's a shame though that my memory cards have bugged-out, erasing my files for the game.
-Next was Brawl when that released. I got a lot of mileage out of this game in college and started getting a little better than average.
-Now, I'm playing Smash 4 on both systems. I'm on the go a lot, so I'm on the 3DS a lot, but I also get my time in on Wii U. Online for this game has helped my skills tremendously. I started picking up on all the things I had issues with (not grabbing, rolling too much, relying in smash attacks too much) and would feel reasonably comfortable going to a tournament now. Still, as a Shulk user, I have a lot of work to do to overcome some of the best players with high-tier characters.
Speaking of tourneys, I have only done one, and it was for Melee over ten years ago in high school. I got second place (can't remember who I used).
Anyway, I'm excited to meet and greet and learn more about this wonderful game!
