Smash Ace
Keeping my tradition of random useful posts, here's a good trick that works against good people only (against bad people it won't work).
I first saw PC Chris do it, it's a conditioning mindgame. Luckily for you, as with most reliable conditioning tricks, the smash community does the conditioning for you (Falcos that like to ledge hop double laser everytime they grab the ledge, therby causing their opponent to predict the ledge hop double laser, and punish from above when the Falco tries to do it).
It's ledgehoped f-air/d-air/n-air (make sure you immediately double jump as soon as you let go of the edge to go high, I'll explain why later, well actually it'll be quite obvious once you get it...)
What this does is hits good people that are trying to (if it was a Falcon for instance) double jump knee you out of your ledge hoped double lasers. They'll try to get over the lasers and land down on you, at least that's how it usually goes down. The Falcon will just knee you right in the face if you ledge hop double laser everytime, cause that's what they're expecting. So you take advantage of this, and f-air them or whatever right in the face. With d-air you can expect the (Falcon in this case...) to immediatly roll (they will have missed the tech) towards the middle of the stage by habit/reflex/not expecting you to chase. So you can just ledge hop d-air then chase the roll (you'll have plenty of time cause it's a missed tech then roll) and d-smash/shine/whatever.
Good stuff.
