Let's do this for real and start off at the right place: At 1AM tonight, I bought the game Braid. While it is a lot of fun, I must say it's a bit overrated.

ENOUGH BRAID

So I checked Smashboards for the last time seven times and then finally got to bed. I was kind of excited because I had got my own alarm clock that day. I couldn't WAIT to wake up to the sound of BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP in the morning.

I woke up to the sound of BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP and decided to never use my own alarm clock ever again. Waking up to the sound of Dr. Robotnik saying "SNOOPING AS USUAL I SEE?" on my cell phone felt a lot better.

My mother had baked bread for breakfast. I love my mother. Then I realized my oldest little sister had cereal that day, because there was nothing left. That's a thing she does, she takes a large bowl, fills it with cereal and then pours an insignificant amount of milk in it.

But that was all right, because it was time for lunch anyway. I had some of the bolognese I had cooked two days ago and then eaten as leftovers yesterday.

Today, I realized I needed a new music album. I made a new year's resolution in September 2007 (Yep). Back then, I had a few songs that I kept on my iPod Shuffle, and never tried anythng new. That's why I promised myself to find one good album every month for the rest of my life. It worked well, but the end of July 2009 is approaching and I hadn't found anything I thought I would like until... YES! I found "The dreams we have as children" by Noel Gallagher in the iTunes Store. Awesome.

In order to not go back to school as a blob who can only use his muscles to crawl to the fridge, I've been exercising one way or another every day this summer. It was raining outside, I didn't feel like jogging or walking in this weather. The exercise cycle would do.

While using this immobile veichle, I always play my Wii, and my cycling speed folows this formula:

Velocity = Fun ÷ Concentration

... which means that if I have fun but need a lot of concentration while playing, like when I play World of Goo, I can barely cycle at the same time. I turned on Brawl, and realized it was very boring as a single player game.

(Seriously, people: Nobody edit the quote and write

someone said:

There, I made the joke, now it's not funny anymore.)

ANYWAY,

I checked the shelf where I keep the Wii games, but realized that I had finished them all. For some reason, my lack of Wii games to play made me angry. In this unpredictable anger, I picked up my wallet, walked to my laptop and ordered Boom Blox Bash Party and Bully - Scholarship Edition, and completely forgot about my exercise cycle (That reminds me, I gotta turn off the Wii).

Then my neighbours came over and threw water from our splasher pool at each other. Apparently, they thought I joined their water war, resulting in a change of clothes. My neighbours also brought a movie which I watched with them. It was called "The longest yard". Bad. Bad movie.

Then it was time for dinner. I had been responsible for dinner the last eight days, so it was kind of nice to have the food served by someone else today. Bolognese again. This time, with corkscrew pasta (Straked loves this stuff)!

After dinner, I played some Plants vs Zombies

... which I have been doing way too much lately.

I still needed that exercise. The rain had stopped, so I grabbed my iPod and planned to walk for one hour and a half. After 20 minutes, it started raining. In fear of losing my best friend iPod Touch, I ran all the way home and realized I hadn't failed at exercising two times in a day before.

I made another blog. Woo-hoo.

Oh, well. Great blog, still. I wish I had Dr. Robotnik on my cell phone.

I liked "The Longest Yard".
Where have I seen this scenario..? An outsider has to gather a team of losers to beat an opposing team consisting of evil people, who think they are unbeatable. Then the losers practice really hard and in the final match, they pull off a lot of cheesy tricks that make them tie with the oppoent, and the movie ends with the main character making the last score in slow motion while the timer is ticking down to zero?

OH, THAT'S RIGHT. EVERY GOD D*MN SPORTS MOVIE EVER CREATED.

There's also a new movie out with who was it again? Dwayne Johnson?

He's the one rounding up criminals for a game against the guards. Only it's not a comedy, so why watch it?

Also, corkscrews. Straked loves those.
