Get it? the title hehe

Anyway for those who are seeking the proper and new play style for Marth I bring you, the Dthrow.

Dthrow - uair is almost 100% effective on almost every single character in the game with the exception of a few.

It works (from what i've noticed) from 0 - 80%.

And a little hint, if your opponent has a character that can manage to air dodge mid Uair, you can almost always re-grab them and repeat the combo until they cannot air dodge due to hit stun.

Also note, that at higher percents you may have to double jump uair very quickly in order for it to work.

Someone with a lot of free time, could confirm the characters it doesn't work on.

So you know, it's been covered by Emblem Lord and myself by this point xD

And you could probably ask Shaya or Kinslayer for help in regards to compiling which characters it doesn't work on. But the general rule of thumb is that floaty characters are a no go, and depending on their DI, you may have to change it to a BAir instead or adjust your jump angle to catch them.

I feel this thread should be locked, but before it is I want to say that if they DI making it so you have to use bair it would probably be better for you since you can combo with a fair afterwards and sometimes even be able to hit with a u-tilt, f-tilt, or f smash.

This.

I actually prefer the bair -> fair -> fsmash progression. I've landed it a few times and it's pretty satisfying. I think even if you don't plan on doing that full combo, bair might be faster coming out than uair, though I'm not entirely sure. I've always felt better throwing out a bair instead of a uair out of a dthrow.
