A high rank mario joins

Been playing Smash Ultimate for long time now. I have about 900 hours playing and most of that online. Most of my skills are developed through trial and error I have never studied how to be a good player before but that is why I joined the forum looks like I have lots to read.

I am a Mario main, I think I am pretty good. I feel like Mario is secretly biased to be best player (why wouldnt Nintendo do that?), he has everything so well rounded & then a couple ridiculous tricks up his sleeve (FLUDD & Cape). Let alone his agility is insane, when played right his combos string together like butter. Some days I am a better player than others but on my best days I have done some pretty disgusting things that justify why I say he is best. I think my biggest downfall is consistency & pulling off those amazing moves under pressure.

Im hoping some of you at least remember getting beat up by someone named "Tyson" online. I am usually hovering in top 2% GSP, been as high as top 0.5% (according to elitegsp.com anyways), currently sitting at 9,055,xxx. Some familiar names I play alot & are pretty good and I wonder if are on this site?

Anyways I look forward to finding some really good players & getting better myself. I have great cable internet into a good router through ethernet my ping is almost always 14-16ms & I find lag to be a rare issue (I usually blame the other player). I am also a good sport & can appreciate when I have gotten my butt genuinely kicked. I do get salty though, cant help it I am human.

Thanks guys. PM if you want to exchange friend code I would love to do some intense 1v1 with soem of the worlds best. See if I am as good as I think.

Hello, and welcome to Smashboards! I am Doc Monocle. No, I am not here to challenge you (I have yet to obtain the materials to do that), so do not pull out the F.L.U.D.D. just yet! You sound like a competent Mario main, and I too like the character.
