Does anybody know how to? Because some people like me who arent from America and cant play properly on EGX not always can play good people and stuff.

I play against 3 lvl9 and its not easy. However this is only good against your reflexes not on mindgames.
Has anyone any tip?

Play vs a level 1 cpu or on training mode to practice combos.

You cant practice ''mindgames'' on a CPU.

You cant get a feel of human patterns or how to manipulate human responses, you can manipulate CPU AI easily in ways that wont work on a human.

All you can really practice is combos.

You can also practice your speed and reflexes against 3 lvl9 as I said...

I jsut asked if someone knew some other way of training
Did you not read what TNGA said? You CAN'T practice speed or reflexes on a computer because they're really predictable and you don't even react, you just subconciously counter their easy patterns. Either play against humans, or practice combos in training mode. That's it.

Well, technically, you can practice combo speed and "certain" reflexes vs a CPU. Not all of them though.

I'd rather fight a Human over a CPU anyday.

CPUs are basicly a joke in ssb...

like ive said before if i dont gimp i have troubles with 1 lvl 9 computer..wierd eh?

use training mode, practice combos, short hopping and Z-Cancling

if you want to work on your speed try this;
Go to Hyrule castle and get on the first platform on the highest tower, then run off and do a Fast falled D air, and cancle it, then jump back onto the platform asap...you shouldnt even see that Dair, but youll hear it.

yeah if you could code it so that every move automatically cancels vsing a level 9 cpu would be ok training, but youd still have to press z to cancel so you dont forget the timing haha

Z-cancel has always been my weak point, i fail too much
Its probably the single most important advanced technique to absolutly master early on if you want to have a fighting chance vs good opponents. Practice the timing and get used to z cancelling -EVERY- air move you do.

The biggest problem i had with Z-Cancling was that i forgot to cancle some of the quicker atks, Link's Nair, Foxs B&Fair, but once you Start cancling everything, combos come by a LOT faster,

SHDL is more important then Z cancling if your a fox xP

I know... Thats because I always mained Ness and used him so much (Z-cancel not needed) and I trained all the other chars relatively few time...

What i do is play 2v1 teams against 2 level 9. It helps you practice your defense and i also just play free for all with all level 9 and win pretty easily. Just practice and work on combos

LOL Z cancling doesnt get kills either, ever press Z and watch someone die from it O_o

that just being technical of course, what i said was more or less a joke xO

SHDL is very vital for slowing down chars that have the same or higher speed then fox ..aka top tier foes, this is all i ment xP

if i couldn't play online....when I practice offline its vs random LEVEL 1 cpus on stages. Try playing them like a person, and not assuming what they will do
practice z-cancelling and shorthopping and stuff....or if you use ness...practice Djc's and up b
Level 9's as they say are boring and play weird, all of them spam rolls...yoshi just randomly smashes....dk and samus only charge their move.....pika spams jolt....fox is just weird...and kirby....is just lulzworthy

Get friends. show them how good the game is. let them get good. teach them stuff that you already know. let them figure some stuff out. then u can train like crazy if they are into the game.. cpus are bad to practice on, except if they are lvl 1-3 and u want to practice combos. but if u dont 5 stock them with like 20 percent or less, then you know that you arent that good. maybe play online, but a lot of people online suck so all u have to do is forward smash over and over then depending who you are playing with spike them. So idk if playing online is the best way. try playing an online tournament, i never have but it might get you better.

What i dont get is why you people keep saying "play lvl 1s to try out combos"

Did you know pratice has a combo meter and a cpu that doesnt even move :o

Exactly, and a Level 1 CPU will have trouble escaping from your combos so you may not know if they've failed. In practice mode, the combo meter resets when hits don't combo properly and you instantly KNOW. Of course it'll reset when the opponent hits a wall which might make you unsure if a move combo'd properly, but a level 1 CPU won't react after hitting a wall until 3 seconds after they've already been lying on the ground and you don't have the benefit of that combo meter.

So the best theoretical method of testing out whether combos are real or not is by TASing it and rapid firing attack/shield/jump on the victim XD

I always Z cancel DJCed aerials. Are you sure Ness doesn't need Z canceling?
You don't need to Z cancel Dair's and Uairs for Ness. Though I press Z anyways because if I accidentally do another ariel move I don't want to be caught sitting on my *** while my opponent is jamming his foot in my mouth.
