A Few Stage, And Stage Selection Questions.

I'm assuming this has been posted around here somewhere before and I'm just blind but I've been searching for the past few days on how to...

Change Stage Select Portraits.

Change Stage Names.

And how to move stages around in the selection screen. For example, switch where Green Hill Zone and Luigi's Mansion are positioned in the Select Screen.

Again, I'm under the assumption that this has all been posted before, but I've tried Googling and searching around the Forums And I honestly can't find it D: Even if you could just direct me to the thread I missed that would be a great help!

Would there be anyway to completely replace a level with a new one then? Like replace Luigi's Mansion with Green Hill Zone?

You'll need to make a new st_mansion.rel in the module folder based on the st_greenhill.rel file. You can do it manually or use Bero's tool to do it.

Sorry for the double post, but now I'm running into a different problem. Any time I replace anything in the "textures" of "misc data 80" the game locks up when about to go to the SSS. No matter what I replace, Name or Icons.

Any suggestions?

Filesize or possibly the images are the same proportion (ex.256x256)

I'm saving as PNG, should I Be saving in something else? and all the sizes are correct.

How would I go about reducing it? And in my previous post by sizes I meant proportion wise.

Half the proportions for anything over 128x128ish you'll lose quality but you won't notice in-game

I think I'm confused. So if an image is 128x128, Make it 64x64 Instead?

I used the sc_selmap from here and didn't have any problems. It does have some customizations already in it, though.
