Are there any guaranteed throws into dsmash/fsmash with doctor mario? Is it dependent on Bad DI? Also how do you short hop bair waveland with him? The timing seems really strange.

Down throw on spaces sometimes can combo into either up smash or a down smash. And sometimes up throw can guarantee up smash. Other than that there really isn't anything else. However down throw into fair works on a lot of people

Also how do you short hop bair waveland with him? The timing seems really strange.

Put yourself in training mode and 0.5x speed or something and train. You'll get the timing in realtime down eventually.
