So as someone relatively new to spacies(have waveshining down pretty well) what else should i work on, is multishining a necessity, how to practice drillshining effectively, and how to go about practicing tech and performing shdls, as well as how to waveshine backwards. Basically any advice or practice/training regimen information is useful, i used to be a puff main btw if that holds any weight or helps at all

1. Multishining can be used as a good mix up in some situations, and pressure. Personally if you pick up a Technical Character like Fox, learn lot of the tech, because it allows you to express your creativity in finding out what works and what doesn't. In order to practice tech like drillshining, just play against a level 1 cpu, like bowser, then once your comfortable with the motions play against a level 1 falco or something. SHDL can take some getting used to, but all it really takes is practice.

Method for SHDL:
1. Y to B 2
2. X to B 2
3. Up-Stick to B 2
4. Shield to Up-Stick/Up-Cstick to B 2

Backwards Waveshine: Hard to explain using Text. lol
Do a Waveshine, the direction of the back of your chracter. (I Tried) lol

Just practice on Lvl 1 Cpus and incorporating your tech into matches. Learn how to get faster, etc. Then once some tech is mastered fight a human opponent and learn how to adapt, and rid yourself of any bad habits you may have developed. Then you will find yourself improving, etc.

To waveshine backwards just make sure you don't hold back until after you jump or else you'll turn around in your shine. Also when you practice tech skill like drill shines make sure you practice it both hitting other characters and also their shields because the timing is different.

Once you get your basic tech down AND the applications for it (wavedashing, l-canceling, SHFFLing, dash dancing)

Some good Fox things are SHDL, shortened side-b, shine grabs, and invincible ledge dashing. If you have any questions about how to practice them, you can PM me or something. I'm too lazy to type them all out right now lol

In regards to multishining, it's unnecessary - but it's flashy and people will like you lol
