A Few Questions About Opening 3.02 after Modding

Hey everyone - total noob here.

I had been playing Project M with my friends at school and then I noticed that 3.02 came out, so I went ahead and downloaded it. While doing so, I learned a bit about modding and I downloaded BrawlBox and put some music in and modified one stage texture, to get my feet wet. Anyway, I loaded it all onto the SD card (it's only like some 700 MB) and we go to play Project M. We open it, and then the screen goes black. No game, no nothing. This happened all four times we tried to open the game.

What I realized when I looked closer at the screen was that there were only some 500 MB being processed - is there something I need to do there? If not, what is it that is hindering the game from opening? Any good answers would be helpful. Thanks. (Btw I have a Mac, which I've learned complicates things)

I did it in BrawlBox... I actually got it all working when I just switched it back to 3.0 and ran it the way I had, music and all. It was weird, but I'll take it.

One other thing (open to anyone who can answer the question)... (this is now in 3.0): I renamed the stage that I retextured and went into nohomebrew/projectm/pf/menu2/mu_menumain_en/miscdata[0]/Textures and subbed in my desired images for MenSelMapIcon.13, MenSelMapFrontStname.13, MenSelMapMark.13, and MenSelMapPrevBase.13, thus completely revamping Yoshi's Island into a bonafide new stage. When I went to open the stage select, I still saw the icon and everything for Yoshi's Island, but when I went to work with the music selections in MyMusic, the new images were displayed. Does anyone know why this would be? If so, what can be done about it? I like uniformity :)

You also have to replace the images in the common5 file. The VS mode Stage Select Screen and the My Music screen are separate files.

It's in the system folder. Anything you want to edit for the character select and stage select screens go in that file.
