I can't help but notice the timing for Pillaring an actual shield is different than consistently shffling the Dair and shine in place. Is there any effective way to adjust to this? I've done it a couple of times and it seems like you actually have to be a bit slower.

I've also wondered how players fall through platforms extremely fast with Falco. Is there some sort of trick to this?

What is the best way to multishine? No matter what I try I am unable to JC the shine fast enough.

1. Yes. The timing is slower, because when you pillar a shield, it slows your fall, meaning you have to l-cancel slightly later than usual. It will take a while, but you have to get a feel for it.

2. Probably "Isai Dropping." I believe it's something like, as you hit a platform, jam the control stick left or right, and then down. If done correctly, you fast fall through the platform.

3. Practice, practice, practice. Just hold down on the control stick, and just slide the finger from y to b very fast. You should be able to do this on command eventually, because JC shines are deceptively useful.

hey SpeedAcE I dont mean to steal your topic and if you can help that would be great, but I have been trying to learn how to pillar correctly and I dont know what Im doing wrong or right, but I get the d-air, i-cancel, to the shine but after that I have some problems following through to the next one, and so on.

Do you suppose Pillaring a character with a starman would be identical or similar to a pillaring character in a shield? Is it a viable method of practicing?

Thats what my friend does, I'm pretty sure the starman timing is the same as pillaring nothing, because a starman does not slow down the Lcancel process like a sheild does.

So, not really, but try this, tape down the L or R button on a controller other than your own, fight the slot that u taped (human) and see if its consistant. (when they sheild, pillar, when they get drunk, jab) Haven't tested it but it seems like it could work?
