Ok. We all know I'm terrible in singles, so I thought I would see what could happen if I created a doubles tournament.
I think it's not realistic to find 16 teams, so I'll go with an eight-team format unless I get sixteen more people after it.
I don't have a partner but will with anyone, besides explodingman and Stimulant.
Three stocks, best of three for first two rounds : final four will be a round-robin style format with the top two teams from that round advancing.
NO items.
11-12 time limit.
No banned characters. However, the catch is you must use different characters in the first two matches of the first round.
The only levels NOT playable are:
Mushroomy Kingdom
Rumble Falls
Norfair
Spear Pillar
Port Town Aero Driver
Wario Ware inc.
New Pork City
Skyworld
Mario Bros.
Flatzone 2
Literally all other levels are permitted.
However, all first matches must be played on FD, Corneria, Pokemon Stadium 2, or Luigi's Mansion. (Let's change things up a bit from the norm)
All selections after that are losers' choice.
