y0, it's "that" guy again - whoever he is. I've got a tournament fight I played as Fox for everyone to enjoy. The game is me, verses Kaigura's C.Falcon (A solid sm4sh player). For those wondering, the tourney was held at RedFlag LAN - the biggest LAN event where I live. Now, this isn't my best performance - it was three in the morning, and we were both pretty exhausted; mistakes were made frequently. Frankly, when I get that tired I don't feel like putting in any effort at all, but I did. Two important PP's come out this game - the first one is when I retreat away from Falcon and shield in between each movement, and the other one is when I retreat with PP, and fire a laser at the same time.

Nice! I'm new at this and I'm a huge lover of Fox since I played Star Fox 64 like 15 years ago! Do you think you can add me as a friend so we can play against each other and I can learn from you? I don't suck I would say, but I'm not as good as you hahaha
Cheers!

As much as I would love to, Foxuser; I live in Australia, so unless you live there... it'll be too laggy to do anything.

If you enjoy watching me play, and you want to learn more then the only thing I can suggest is watching another tournament game of mine - this one is more recent.

I'm alright at Sm4sh - I still have much to learn, and this video is a perfect demonstration of how many painful / cringe worthy mistakes I still make.
If I go for one more rogue up smash...

Good demonstration, I have definitely incorporated PP lasers into my game as well, I think it is a must if we use any laser at all.

Do you guys in Australia do any tourneys with customs? My area hasn't yet, so I haven't tested PP lasers with the 64 lasers. I feel like it would give us a better retreating option. If you ever enter a tourney that does I'd be curious to hear how PP lasers work with that custom set up.

Nothing is ever a "must" but what you say is true; the wind up and ending lag on the laser make its uses few and far between - PP helps to cover for this downfall.

Nope, we don't play with customs at all :s Our sm4sh community only has 60 odd members.

edit: forgot to say, it's awesome to know that someone other than me is PPing as Fox :D

I'll be entering a string of tourneys soon, I am hopeful of making it on stream, otherwise I lack the equipment xD
