Concerning the great maze.
So me and a friend were playing it, finding "dark" versions of characters, killing them etc. At the first, the only thing on our map was the blue rooms, the dots/lines connecting them, and the occasional weird crystal-like thing. Then, all of a sudden, we checked the map and Bowser heads had just appeared all over the place. I know what they symbolize; That's where enemy characters are. But I can't help but wonder why those heads decided to randomly appear, and weren't there from the start?
Also, what purpose is there to fighting all the "dark" characters. I know it makes their trophies disappear from in front of the Tabuu door, but do you need to fight all the dark characters to go through the door? Are you penalized in any way by not fighting them all? What's the deal with this.
Thanks.
