Alright, here is how it works.

The Rules

A person starts off by adding +1, +2, or +3 to 0.

Player1: 2

The next player does the same.

Player2: 3 (Added 1)

And so on.

Player1: 6
Player2: 9
Player1: 10
Player2: 13
Player1: 14

If you say 15, you lose. If you don't say 15 and/or avoid saying 15, you also lose.

Is this all coming back to you guys, when you and your friends played this on the bus, in the car, etc?

One twist though. Since quite a few people know about the pattern of the game, and how they can win with one pattern, I will randomize the amount you can add, and the goal each game. I will also make it a 4 player game, free for all.

The 4 player game will involve two knockouts, so that 2 people remain. Those two people will advance to the next round.

Each person will be given 12 hours from the last post to post their addition. I will read out the matches so that no people that should not be posting do post.

This game should be epic if there is a massive turnout. I will start the first version with 24 people, so I can get a feel of if the game is worth it.

Tourney Style

The First and Second rounds will be a knockout style, the person who hits 15 (Can be another number) get knocked out.

The Quarters and Semis are the same style, but the Quarters have a 2 strike system, where one must hit 15 (Again another number maybe) twice to get knocked out. The Semis involve a 3 strike system.

I am hoping that people will join, if less people join it will be much less fun.

Battles will be posted on the title of this game based on the corresponding number and position. Example is Battle 3 Round 2. It's your job to make sure you know your battles.

Alright, all there is to do is wait for people to sign up. If 24 - 32 people sign up that itself will be an accomplishment.

There is no way to win.

But i do understand the game, it is just badly worded

Yeah I guess you are right that I worded that badly. Basically what I meant was that if you are the next person and you are supposed to say 15, but avoid doing so, you are out anyway. Like some people might go:

That would account to a loss.

The thing is that people are knocked out every match. The people that don't get knocked out technically "win" that match, because they would advance to the next round. I haven't figured out how to do the finals yet, so you are right that for now there can be no ultimate winner. But the battles before the finals are fool proof.

Also, I may consider bumping it down to 24 slots, 26 might seem awkward since there would be uneven matches of 3 or 4. Anyway, thanks for joining, I got bored because H&H was not up yet.

Edit: I have currently reduced the amount of slots to 24. The first round will involve 6 rounds of 4, the second round will involve 3 rounds of 4, the semis will involve 1 round of 6, and the finals will involve 1 round of 2. I have also added a start time, meaning that if 24 join there will be 1 week for more people to sign up to make it 32. Once it reaches 32, it will start. If it reaches 24, 25, 27, 28, or 30 after the one week period, it will start, and no one will get kicked out. If there are 26 or 29 people, one person will have to be randomly ejected. If there are 31 people, we will continue to wait for the 32nd person to sign up.
