Venue:

Due to people inside of the room at the time, The pictures that I took were limited, but it is a nice roomy venue.
**The Venue we are utilizing is not ours. Not only is the responsibility on our shoulders, but money was needed to be put down in order to use it.
Please respect the property and everything in it or you will be asked to leave.**
Main Tournament room is pretty much all we have access too. It's nice, roomy, and is (I believe) Nicely Air Conditioned. Restrooms are available and are clean.
Details:
Being the first tournament we will be running, We're gonna go ahead and run Singles first. Once Singles finishes if enough people are interested I'd be more than haaaapy to run Doubles.
In Addition, if all goes well and the owners of the Venue are content with the overall result, I'd love nothing more than to host this as a Monthly Event and more importantly include my personal favorite, Melee.
So please, show up, bring hype, and respect the Venue.![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Directions:
I think the Mapquest link posted above should be most useful. But a ver general idea of how to get to Chatsworth from the LA area (or Cerittos, Burbank, Montabello etc) is to catch the 5 North to the 118 West where you would continue until you get to the De Soto exit.
From there it's just a 4 minute drive on that street until you reach Lassen and make a Left. Make a right on the first street you see; Lurline and make a right (or left if really necceary) and find parking anywhere on that street.
Or if you wish, you can take the 5 North to the 101 North and Exit on De Soto as well. From there it would take a little longer but you'd keep driving north on De Soto until you hit Lassen.
Still, if you're anything like me Mapquest (or Google Maps) is teh best way hands down.
And if all else fails my Contact Info is up so you could ask me how to get there.
------------------------------
Rules:
By now these are generaly known and similar in the tourney scene. But since time and space allow, here they are again:
3 Stock, 7:00 min Items set to off and none.
Neutrals:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Smashville
Counter-Picks
Lylat Cruise
Yoshi's Story
Pokémon Stadium (melee)
Delfino Plaza
Castle Siege
Halberd
Frigate Orpheon
Jungle Japes (melee)
Rainbow Cruise (melee)
Brinstar (melee)
Set Format
---------------
- Round 1 -
(1) Controller slots are agreed upon (randomly if need be).
(2) Character selection is done "Double Blind". Any player may instead choose a character before the opponent and skip Double Blind.
(3) Stage Select is determined by Elimination Method (see 'Stage Select - First Round', below).
- Round 2 -
(1) Loser of the previous round announces the stage to be played - you may not choose a stage on which you have already won.
(2) Winner of the previous round selects character.
(3) Loser of the previous round selects character.
(4) Stage is highlighted by the previous round's loser, and started by the previous round's winner.
Repeat 1-4 for each additional round played.
______________________
Stage Select - First Round
-------------------------------
Players alternate choosing a stage to "eliminate" from the list of available stages, starting with the player with the controller slot closest to #1. The last stage remaining is used for the first round of the set.
Additional Game Rules & Clarifications:
* Finals in both the Primary and the Elimination Brackets will be "Best of Five" games.
* Ledge grab rule is in effect. No more than 30 ledge grabs in a match. If you suspect your opponent grabbed the ledge more than 30 times, check the stats at the end. Player who grabbed ledge more than 30 times loses that ROUND.
* Grand Finals will be "Best of Five", with the player coming from Elimination Bracket needing to win two Sets to take first place.
* In case of time-out, the winner is the player with the most stock. In case of tied stock, the winner is determined by lowest damage percent. In the extremely rare event that damage and stock is the same, players play a 1 stock match in overtime.
*Standing Infinites banned and (i.e. DDD on Mario ect ), IC's chain throws are ALLOWED.
* Excessive stalling is prohibited and will be dealt with by a referee's/TO's decision.
* Infinite Cape glitch is banned
* In case of technical problems (e.g. power outage) the round will be replayed, do not start from damage percent or stock lost.
*In the event a match ends via a suicide (Kirby, Bowser, DDD, etc) the winner of that match is the player that forced the Suicide action.
