So with this new update, they've added 15 stages (this includes Omega forms) to be available for play in 8 Player Smash.
Some stages, however, had their transitions or even completely removes boss characters from the stage (mostly due to possible affects to gameplay and performance). Three stages catch my eye in terms of now possibly being legal and they are:
Pokemon Stadium 2 - No more transitions
Pyrosphere - Ridley (and enemies?) removed
Norfair - Lava(?) removed...
Still have to see Orbital Gate since they removed transitions on that stage too.
Does anyone think it'd be possible to allow these stages to be played at tournaments? I mean, all that needs to be done is exit out of the main Smash sub-menu and move on over to 8 player Smash.
I'm sure tests needs to be run but I'm really hoping this opens up more stage selections.
