8 player BRAWL is possible. (Not to be confused with the other thread)

With 4 gamecube controllers, and 4 wiimotes, you can have 8 players being controlled on the screen.


if Sakurai and Team were smart, they would IMPLENT that feature, ... it could turn out to be game changing and revolutionary.

Think about it: ICE CLIMBER TEAM, except one is on the gamecube controller and one is on the wiimote. That brings teamwork to a whole new level, since unison is vital.

And, what if it was on a smaller scale? What if each person had an assist controller, that aided them in the battle?

This could be a wonderful way to incorporate 8 players and make Brawling even better.

I thought that only a certain controller can be used at one time for each player port. At least that's how it was for DBZ:T2.

That's not enough room to shield. That's the only flaw in this brilliant plan. Which I endorsed since the dawn of the Dojo.

Heck, we could play with 6 players in Melee, make it 8 in Brawl! Co-Star mode revived!

I though of that today as well after I saw the rotation update at 6:30 this morning. But then i thought, what if this situation occurs. 8 pro smashers. 4 gamecube controllers 4 wiimotes. 4=win 4=lose. Not that I am downgrading the idea, it just kinda sucks for parties when there are those who are used to Cubetrollers and are stuck with wiimotes.
