so brawl is coming out in 73 days which means about 11 - 12 weeks which means only 55-58 more updates for veterans, assist trophies, pokeball pkmn, items, newcomers, stages
you get the point

it may not be as much of a step up from melee as melee was from 64

there may also be some double update days.

Umm, no I don't get the point. Are you talking about the character roster increase? There's still plenty of time not to mention that Sakurai will probably continue updating after december 3rd.

Also even if he said he was gonna show all unlockables doesn't mean he's gonna show them that early before the game's release. Maybe he'll go crazy in revealing characters right before the games release. That's what I think at least
