ABOUT:
4xGravity will be our fourth Melee Monthly of 2016. We have carefully considered your responses to our survey and feel that we have crafted the tournament Texas has asked for. We will be running Melee Singles & Doubles. There will be no pot bonus, but there will still be giveaways! All are welcome to come.
Payouts are as follows:
1st--50%
2nd--25%
3rd--12.5%
4th--7.5%
5th--2.5%
5th--2.5%
All sign-ups must be submitted online at:smash.gg/4xGravity by 9:00PM CST on 06/03/2016.
VENUE/ENTRY:
There will be a $5 venue fee and a $10 entry fee for singles ($5/person for doubles=$10/team). The venue fee will be waived for those that bring setups. Your venue fee pays for entry into the venue and access to the arcade machines all day.
*** All payment must be made at least 10 minutes before event start times in cash at the venue.***

12:30 Melee Doubles begins
3:50 Melee Singles payment is due
4:00 Singles bracket begins
MELEE DOUBLES FORMAT:
Double elimination bracket. Matches will be best of 3 until top 8, then they will be best of 5.
MELEE SINGLES FORMAT:
Double elimination bracket. Matches will be best of 3 until top 8, then they will be best of 5. There will be an amateur bracket being run alongside the standard bracket. To qualify for this amateur bracket you can not have made it past losers round 2. Winner of the amateur bracket will win $15 to cover their venue and entry fee.

DISCLAIMERS & VENUE RULES:
We will be implementing the following rule: if participant is 5 minutes late to a match they will lose the first game. If the participant is 10 minutes late, they will forfeit the match.
We will need setups! Those who bring setups will have their venue fee waived.
Outside food and drink are allowed, but the venue asks that you please keep food downstairs and that you keep drinks off tables and arcade cabinets.
TO’s and Uplift eSports staff have final say in all matters.
This shouldn't have to be said, but Uplift eSports will not be tolerating any bad behavior, bad manners, rudeness, etc. Also, please make sure you shower before you come in. Not adhering to any of the rules or the word of TO's will result in expulsion from the event. Respect the venue, respect your peers, respect yourselves.
