hi 1) I read this rule for brawl 'Resolving Ties: Any games ending in time running out should always be decided by stock, and then percents. If percents are the same or both players die simultaneously, there will be a 1 stock overttime or the sudden death will be played out. The TO needs to decide which of these will be used before the tournament. Bowser's suicide klaw is exempt from this rule.' and for melee 'Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played'. In melee there isn't choice?
2) if the choice in a tournament is 1 stock overtime which is time limit for this stock?
3) for melee I read this 'The stock is set to 4 *' '*In the event of time constraints 3 stocks may be used'. people can choice between 3 and 4?
4) which is the most fair stage in smash 64,melee and brawl? in smash 64 I think dream land because there is only wind and this help few and in melee and brawl I think battlefield
thanks in advance

Brawl: Per 1-stock overtime: set time to 2 minutes, that is what I use at tournaments.

Smash 64 I don't know to much about, there is a Smash 64 board though they would be better equipted to answer your question.

Per Melee stocks: 4 is universal, 3 is rarely used for pool play/if a tournament is behind schedule. IE use 4 stock unless you are really time cramped.

Per stages: There are no "fair" stages in any game. Every stage presents an imbalance of sorts that depends on the character match up. Typically players though view flat stages with flatforms as more "fair" than, say, Rainbow Cruise.

64's most popular stage is Hyrule by far, but the whirlwinds, platforms and **** tent open huge avenues of abuse. So personally I'd have to say that Dreamland is the most balanced stage.

Melee is a little more complicated. FD works well by and large but heavily favour one character in certain matchups, and Battlefield has weird ledges that gimp spacies' recoveries. FoD is pretty good except, again, for certain matchups, and I'll throw out PS just because its transformations don't give any character a terrain advantage for very long.

Brawl is probably Smashville. Average-sized, uncomplicated stage with a moving platform that can put a stop to various shenanigans that would **** people over otherwise.

Please take my recommendations with the biggest grain of salt ever.

I wouldn't say there is a fairest stage because of chain throws (FD) and gay range that work only for a handful with platforms. plus many things stages mess up recvoverys or only helps one person. so I think dreamland64 wins in all of them because of lacks chain throw and gay range that ***** you when you are on a platform
