What are your thoughts on the fallspeed of the 3ds version? Do characters fall faster, slower, or the same as the characters in the Wii U counterpart?

Unless someone is going to prove otherwise, I'm just going to assume that the two games will have the exact same mechanics in those respects.

Cool, I'm not the only one that noticed that the 3DS version seems a bit slower/floatier than the Wii version. Yeah, can't really add much to that besides that observation haha.

I've noticed it too, but I'm not sure if it's just because the screen is smaller or w/e. I doubt it's actually any slower than the Wii U version though, even if it looks like it.

I've been watching the sections of the Smash Direct with 3ds footage, and it looks floatier in some clips but consistent with Wii U in other clips. Don't know what to make of things right now.

it could just be the way its being captured/filmed since the 3ds has no native way that does it, but i did notice it being a hair bit slower in parts

I noticed no difference. Maybe the clips you are comparing have the players fast-falling on the Wii U and falling normally on the 3DS

I'm pretty sure the speed is going to be the same in both versions. It wouldn't really make sense if they were different.

Well the only thing i noticed is that on the WiiU version Link's Dodge is a somersault and it is fast, but on the 3ds version he only rolls back like before. So there seems to be a difference, on the WiiU You could act right out of shield, 3ds seems to be like before. I'm pretty sure it will be the same as the WiiU in the end, but its interesting it's like that. After all on the WiiU some characters like bowser are mirrored, so they face forward all the time, that wasn't the case in the 3ds version before, but in the direct they implemented that, i'm pretty sure they'l implement the roll too.
