3DS version coming out tomorrow, could we be hearing about the wii u version's release date by then?

So, tomorrow the 3DS version officially makes it into stores (I know some have got it earlier but whatever, that's not the case here), Sakurai has started already delivering us PotD about the wii u version, yeah sure, but Nintendo has to give a word about its release date once the 3Ds version releases or else that would seem a bit irresponsible to leave us with still no news about an exact release date for those who are going to get the Wii U version. Not to mention that it would be a perfect time to start hyping us for it and make people want it still, even if we are getting the cheap (in terms of price) version of the game already.

So my question to you guys is simple, do you -THINK- that we might get a chance to know the wii u version's release date tomorrow? finally?... I'm actually feeling it it just seems a right time to confirm it.

Probably not on the exact day. But I imagine we'll learn more about the Wii U version whenever this month's Nintendo Direct is coming up. It might even be another Smash Bros.-specific direct that focuses mostly on the Wii U version. Revealing modes that aren't on the 3DS but are on the Wii U version, as well as more stages, and likely a trailer that officially reveals some of the characters we know are in the game already from the 3DS version that aren't on the official website yet.

God I hope so but I kind of doubt it. Smash Wii U is the only game that is aiming for a holiday release but with no specific release date.

I'm just scared it might be delayed to 2015 and if it does I surely will not understand Iwata.

I'm pretty sure it won't be delayed,

We'll probably get a general direct in the next few weeks for console titles coming out in the next six months or something.

More Splatoon info, Star Fox info, etc. And the Wii U Smash date of Nov 21st. And maybe a character we haven't seen to hopefully confirm that the rosters not complete.

Doubt it unless Nintendo's fine with screwing themselves over from pushing Wii U sales.

Coming from the people who named the new 3ds...the *New* 3DS? Coming from the people who named the Wii's successor Wii U? The same people who delayed Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze one of the Wii U's biggest games from December to February? The people who thought it would be a good idea to have Geoff Keighley host a Smash Bros invitational? The Special Demo?

Nintendo is the king of silly decisions and I'm just hoping this isn't one of then

Considering we didn't for the Japanese release, it seems highly unlikely.
