Smash 3DS 3DS Smash and Game Chat?

I personally would love the idea. So long as I can mute players. Game Chat in Smash 4 3DS would just be great in my opinion. I really want it.
If anyone knows if it'll be in Smash 4 I'd appreciate the info.

To my knowledge there isn't any info out regarding that yet. That having been said, going by MK8 on Wii U as a recent example doesn't leave me very optimistic for the possibilities. Voice chat only with friends in the lobbies between races.

I do hope Sakurai and Namco-Bandai surprise me on this, voice chat with friends would be nice at the very least. If not, then oh well, there's always alternatives.

Yeah, if there's no voice chat then I guess I'll have to use Skype.

Expect Me To Not Say a word While everyone else is frantically talking, I need to focus myself :3 but I have a question since there are 5 people how will it work with us playing against each other how will we watch the other's matches?

If VC is in and it works like I hope/expect it to I guess anyone in the tourney lobby will be able to hear everyone else, mute certain players if need be, etc.
