3ds For glory Glitch

Pretty sure this is the place to post this. Whilst playing FG I came across a japanese player. Every thing was normal, he played Ryu I played Palutena. After the fist lagtastic match a glitch occurred (I have NO idea how it happened) where my chip (the circle you use to select a character) glitched into the upper left corner. Above mario's portrait is where it stood stuck. I couldn't leave the room. My only options were to turn off wifi or continue on. Then I notice I started playing RYU A CHARACTER I DID NOT BUY. I have not touched any of the DLC as of yet and it was awesome that I got to mess around with him. Though I was stuck in the waiting room.

My name is Zorua but it appears at my opponents side while his name appears on my side. The game seems to think I was the japanese player. It was interesting to say the least. I sadly did not get to keep ryu after I disconnected </3
