So, I got Sm4sh for WiiU. Super happy. Super excited. Life is just ****in' grand. GRAND, I say! GRAND!

Then I found out you can only use the 3DS (my controller of choice, and my only other option being the goddamn GamePad) in local Smash mode only. This is killing me and making it really hard to enjoy and play the game.
The 3DS is MY controller.
I could understand if you couldn't play online. Totally get that, but the fact you can't even play Solo modes absolutely baffles the hell out of me. This is ridiculous.

No more ******** and moaning. I'll cut straight to the point now, does anyone, ANYONE, know of any future patches or plans to ever make 3DS compatibility for all modes, or at least the Solo modes?

PS. Before you say Google it, Google search isn't giving me what I want, since I can't compress the question to fully get it across.

PPS. Before you just tell me to get a different controller, think if you couldn't use your GC controller in the ways that I can't use my 3DS. I play my 3DS controller damn competitively and this is really messing with me right now.

From what I can tell, there are no plans for making the 3DS system compatible with any other game modes, outside of Smash.

Lying about my country.

It's not all that different to the 3DS; the buttons are placed in pretty much the exact same way, and you get extra buttons for further customization. If you're put off by its size, you might wanna look into getting a Pro Controller, as it's pretty much a compact Upad with a better grip. Or you just miss the slide pad and junk? Guess there's no replacement for that...

Either way, yeah, that sounds really freaking weird that you can't use it on solo modes. Why isn't it treated like every other controller in the game? I can't think of any reason for it not to work in solo mode.

As for the actual question, we really don't know if they're working on any patches right now beyond Mewtwo stuff. But I'm not counting on it happening. :/
