I know many people have had this issue already. I was hoping I wouldn't be a victim of this, but my 3DS circle pad is getting looser and looser. I'm fearing that it's going to break off while I'm playing. I've never had this issue with any other 3DS game I've had. Not even Street Fighter IV!!! Does Nintendo sell any of these circle pads or is there a possible way to tighten the circle pad so it doesn't feel so loose? I'd really appreciate it. I don't feel like spending another $150 for another 3DS.

Feels 10x better without the rubber bit (which you can just glue back on).
Other players attest the game is perfectly playable (perhaps even better) with just the nub itself (ie after the plastic pad broke off).

If you insist though, you can replace the entire stick. There's plenty of guides on it.

I'll see how it feels when the pad breaks off. As long as it's functional, then I'm ok.

The pad broke off my XL last week, some super glue and it feels even more durable than before

It sounds like the results people have had with this sort of issue have not been as bad as I thought it was.
