360 controller

Firstly: I know this may not be the best forum to ask about this. It's the only one i found that has people who know what their talking about. You may lmao at this topic, i really don't care.

TO THE QUESTION;
My 360 controller started being a *****. There are certain lines on the controller, can't really describe them.. They are seen in this pic, next to the gray area of the remote: http://www.gadgetsandgames.co.uk/images/xbox360_controller.jpg.

Now, the two lines are NOT in the same height as the gray area, and not tight next to it. They are kind of.. seperated. It's very uncomfy to my fingers, and it's a problem that just developed. Did anyone suffer from this problem? I seriously cant play without my fingers crying for help. Can anyone help me fix this? Ive tried screwdriving it back, didn't work out to well. The remote didn't fall or something, i seriously don't know why this happens. (I only have them for a frigin month and a half, i really doubt its from age)

If you could take the picture into paint, circle the area you're talking about with some nifty lines so that I know what you mean. I'm sure we could all try to help.

I think what he means is that the bottom portion of the controller isn't flush with the top—there's space between the "plates" that encase the controller, where the crease is. Which is uncomfortable for his hands, I guess.

As for how to fix the problem, I have no answers.

Thats exactly what i mean. those spaces between the plates. Their not in the same level as the gray area of the remote. really annoying to my fingers, nothing works to fix it. D:
