3 in 1 Joybox Controller Causing the BSOD?

Hey, a while back I got a Tigergame 3 in 1 Joybox USB Plug-in Controller (PS2, GC, XBOX) from Ebay. I saw it on the Mayflash site and thought it'd be nice to have for gaming.. but every time I disconnect the USB plug from my computer, I get the BSOD.

It basically says BAD_POOL_HEADER and gives me the error 0x00000000019 (those are the only two things that stand out to me at least)

I first installed the driver from the Floppy disk they gave me through the mail, and I first started having problems with it. Even though sometimes it wouldn't give me the BS when I did unplug it, most of the time it did. So I went ahead and uninstalled the driver and got the driver from the Mayflash website (and this was made in late '07 if that makes a difference). Is there a fault with my Joybox? I'm also using XP fyi.

..also since I forgot: Here's what the controller looks like

EDIT: Okay, it seems to be working for now since I got that driver from Derek's linked site.. so yah. The driver is a bit outdated though (I can tell because it won't let me choose between analog or d-pad controls) but at least it works. I'll try and find other drivers in the future if it becomes a problems.. thanks Derek.

This could be caused by a couple of things. Usually it has something to do with the driver. 90 million times out of 90 million and 1, a driver that is on a floppy disk is not going to be good. I would do a little research online and find a new, updated driver. Also, I would recommend that you have your computer system up to date with all the updates that Microsoft has to offer. It seems as if the process that is enabling the use of the controller won't accept a kill command when you unplug the controller itself, which like I mentioned, could be the cause of a bad driver.

That's good to know then -- I was just hoping it wasn't because of the controller itself.

I'll look up myself. Hopefully I won't have to send it back though, because my 30 day warranty (Bought it from e-bay) might be coming up soon. (probably on the 20th though, so theres plenty of time). I'll try looking for updates, and the driver itself. But I DID try the official mayflash site, and I downloaded theres, and that was 2007. They might have abandoned it, so that's why it's so old..

Floppy disk? Sha wah--?

But, yes, 9 times out of 10 a 'BAD_POOL_HEADER' error is going to be driver related, so the best first step to take would be to start tracking down some updated drivers.

Can't vouch for the drivers there, as I don't have the controller myself, but I did find some: http://www.electricquarter.com/drivers.htm
