3.6 Custom Music Issues

I've had this issue where some brstms played normally for a while then cut to a different track, distorted and scratchy sounding. Since the update, however, it seems that tracks that have never done this before are now doing this, some single tracks even going on a grand tour of many different custom and in-game tracks.

Is this something wrong with the brstms or the game itself? Maybe I downloaded them wrong?

Firstly, there's no such thing as downloading a brstm incorrectly.
Secondly, are you using wii or dolphin netplay?

If wii, then remove all of the files from the sd card simultaneously and put them back at the same time; essentially, defrag the sd card.

If netplay, set the hooktype to "VBI"
