3.5 Wi-Fi use

3.5 includes the necessary code by default. You just need to download and install the WiFi-safe version, and you're good to go. Unless you have previously used the same console and save file for Brawl's WiFi, in which case you would need to erase your save file first. (to check, try connecting to WiFi after installing PM. If you get an error code 60000, you need to delete your file.)

If you download the full version you just need to go to addons and click the wifi addon and the PM launcher will make your full version into the wifi version... reversible by simply switching the addon off=)...

Can I play wifi in Puerto Rico? I have been trying to connect for a while but i cannpt seem to get it working

60000 means you need to delete your save file and create a new one. Project M unlocks everything for you, so you don't need to worry about unlocking stuff over again.

So If I download Project M 3.5 I can just play online right when it boots up?
I had the previous version of project M and I had the online patch, but whenever I played I only played 2 minute matches becuase i had no friends online and the people would just kill themselves or do stupid things it was annoying.
This is known as a "desync"; essentially, you are getting paired against people playing regular Brawl, and since regular Brawl and PM are incompatible with each other (online play, as with replays, only transmits your button inputs to the other player. Since frame data, damage values, etc. are different from Brawl, the two are incompatible), you and the other players will end up playing different matches. So when you see your opponents killing themselves, they also saw you killing yourself. There's no way around this, other than to add people who will play against you. You can never play "with anyone" mode with PM, since there is always a significant chance of getting paired with a Brawl player. Check this thread to find people who may be willing to play against you.

Just out of curiosity. what code is it that allows you to connect to the private server? Say i wanted to connect with a custom build to test with friends, what would i need to add to the GCT? also i think its less likely that you see more vbrawl on wifi (since official servers went down, so only hackers would be online now) xD brawl minus and a few other mods use the wifi patch to connect, so its probably a mix of all of them.

I find you quite appealing
I keep getting, "Exception (DSI) occured!" when I load up PM on a clean build and it connects to the WiFi. I just recently deleted the save files for Brawl too. I can override this by quickly loading up PM, though.

there's something wrong with whatever the launcher connects to so for the moment the only way to stop it from crashing is to disconnect from wifi...

it shuold not do that, no... are you using configurable usb loader?.. if so you might have an rsbe01.gct from an older version of PM in the sd/usb-loader/codes folder...
